Everyone will run to their homelands, just as hunted deer run, and sheep scatter when they have no shepherd.

I cry like a swallow; I mourn like a dove. My eyes are red from looking to you, LORD. I am terribly abused. Please come and help me.

You have worn yourself out, asking for advice from those who study the stars and tell the future month after month. Go and ask them how to be saved from what will happen.

Your guards and your officials are swarms of locusts. On a chilly day they settle on a fence, but when the sun comes out, they take off to who-knows-where.

One of the seven angels who had emptied the bowls came over and said to me, “Come on! I will show you how God will punish that shameless prostitute who sits on many oceans.

The oceans that you saw the prostitute sitting on are crowds of people from all races and languages.
