When you pray, don't talk on and on as people do who don't know God. They think God likes to hear long prayers.

Respect and obey God! Daydreaming leads to a lot of senseless talk.

If the follower refuses to listen to them, report the matter to the church. Anyone who refuses to listen to the church must be treated like an unbeliever or a tax collector.

Jesus walked on a little way. Then he knelt with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, don't make me suffer by making me drink from this cup. But do what you want, and not what I want.”

Again Jesus went to pray and said, “My Father, if there is no other way, and I must suffer, I will still do what you want.”

He left them and prayed the same prayer once more.

Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all these.

But when the crowd saw that he was Jewish, they all shouted for two hours, “Great is Artemis, the goddess of the Ephesians!”
