Have pity, LORD! Heal me, so I can pay them back.

Stop being angry and don't try to take revenge. I am the LORD, and I command you to love others as much as you love yourself.

Respect your father and mother. And love others as much as you love yourself.”

You know that our ancestors were told, “Do not murder” and “A murderer must be brought to trial.”

You know the commandment which says, “Be faithful in marriage.”

No Ammonites or Moabites, or any of their descendants for ten generations, can become part of Israel, the LORD's people.
