I will tell the promise that the LORD made to me: “You are my son, because today I have become your father.

Here is my servant! I have made him strong. He is my chosen one; I am pleased with him. I have given him my Spirit, and he will bring justice to the nations.

The LORD always does right, and so he wanted his Law to be greatly praised.

The Father loves the Son and has shown him everything he does. The Father will show him even greater things, and you will be amazed.

The Father who sent me also speaks for me, but you have never heard his voice or seen him face to face.

God was very kind to us because of the Son he dearly loves, and so we should praise God.

God rescued us from the dark power of Satan and brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son,

God, our great and wonderful Father, truly honoured him by saying, “This is my own dear Son, and I am pleased with him.”

We believe what people tell us. But we can trust what God says even more, and God is the one who has spoken about his Son.

Then I heard a sound from heaven that was like a roaring flood or loud thunder or even like the music of harps.
