Too much pride causes trouble. Be sensible and take advice.

Jesus replied, “You certainly will drink from my cup! But it isn't for me to say who will sit at my right side and at my left. That is for my Father to say.”

But if your heart is full of bitter jealousy and selfishness, don't boast or lie to cover-up the truth.

All you young people should obey your elders. In fact, everyone should be humble towards everyone else. The Scriptures say, “God opposes proud people, but he helps everyone who is humble.”
