When people ill-treat you in one town, hurry to another one. I promise you that before you have gone to all the towns of Israel, the Son of Man will come.

Because of this plot against him, Jesus stopped going around in public. He went to the town of Ephraim, which was near the desert, and he stayed there with his disciples.

Jesus decided to leave Judea and to start going through Galilee because the Jewish leaders wanted to kill him.

Large crowds followed him, and he healed their sick people.

In every village or farm or market place where Jesus went, the people brought their sick to him. They begged him to let them just touch his clothes, and everyone who did was healed.

After all, God chose you to suffer as you follow in the footsteps of Christ, who set an example by suffering for you.

Don't get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don't give up.

As long as it is day, we must do what the one who sent me wants me to do. When night comes, no one can work.

About that time Jesus went off to a mountain to pray, and he spent the whole night there.

Jesus knew what they were thinking, and he said, “Why are you thinking that?

But a lot of people found out about this and followed him. Jesus welcomed them. He spoke to them about God's kingdom and healed everyone who was sick.
