I will bless anyone who blesses you, but I will put a curse on anyone who puts a curse on you. Everyone on earth will be blessed because of you.

“What I saw in my vision hasn't happened yet. But some day, a king of Israel will appear like a star. He will wipe out you Moabites and destroy those tribes who live in the desert.

In the Scriptures God says about him, “I am sending my messenger ahead of you to get things ready for you.”

Jesus answered, “Go and tell John what you have heard and seen.

“Announce to the people of Jerusalem: ‘Your king is coming to you! He is humble and rides on a donkey. He comes on the colt of a donkey.’ ”

Some people walked ahead of Jesus and others followed behind. They were all shouting, “Hooray for the Son of David! God bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hooray for God in heaven above!”

In front of Jesus and behind him, people went along shouting, “Hooray! God bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord!

They shouted, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory to God.”

“Yes, Lord!” she replied. “I believe that you are Christ, the Son of God. You are the one we hoped would come into the world.”

they took palm branches and went out to greet him. They shouted, “Hooray! God bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord! God bless the King of Israel!”

The Spirit will bring glory to me by taking my message and telling it to you.

Jesus said to her: Believe me, the time is coming when you won't worship the Father either on this mountain or in Jerusalem.

After the people had seen Jesus perform this miracle, they began saying, “This must be the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

A lot of people in the crowd put their faith in him and said, “When the Messiah comes, he won't perform more miracles than this man has done!”

As the Scriptures say, “God is coming soon! It won't be very long.
