After crossing the River Jordan and reaching Atad's threshing place, Joseph made everyone mourn and weep seven days for his father.

Then they played flutes and celebrated as they followed Solomon back to Jerusalem. They made so much noise that the ground shook.

The LORD's people will sing as they do when they celebrate a religious festival at night. The LORD is Israel's mighty rock, and his people will be as happy as they are when they follow the sound of flutes to the mountain where he is worshipped.

You are precious to me, and so I will rebuild your nation. Once again you will dance for joy and play your tambourines.

A large crowd was following Jesus, and in the crowd a lot of women were crying and weeping for him.

You are like children sitting in the market and shouting to each other, “We played the flute, but you would not dance! We sang a funeral song, but you would not cry!”

Everyone was crying and weeping for the girl. But Jesus said, “The child isn't dead. She is just asleep.”
