“Don't hurt the boy or harm him in any way!” the angel said. “Now I know that you truly obey God, because you were willing to offer him your only son.”

The LORD forgives our sins, heals us when we are sick,

It was for my own good that I had such hard times. But your love protected me from doom in the deep pit, and you turned your eyes away from my sins.

By suffering, the servant will learn the true meaning of obeying the LORD. Although he is innocent, he will take the punishment for the sins of others, so that many of them will no longer be guilty.

Some people soon brought to him a crippled man lying on a mat. When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the crippled man, “My friend, don't worry! Your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus turned. He saw the woman and said, “Don't worry! You are now well because of your faith.” At that moment she was healed.

Is it easier for me to tell this crippled man that his sins are forgiven or to tell him to get up and walk?

Some of the teachers of the Law of Moses were sitting there. They started wondering,

Jesus said to the woman, “You are now well because of your faith. May God give you peace! You are healed, and you will no longer be in pain.”

When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the crippled man, “My friend, your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus said to the woman, “You are now well because of your faith. May God give you peace!”

No one had to tell him what people were like. He already knew.

Later, Jesus met the man in the temple and told him, “You are now well. But don't sin any more or something worse might happen to you.”

When Barnabas got there and saw what God had been kind enough to do for them, he was very glad. So he begged them to remain faithful to the Lord with all their hearts.

The man was listening to Paul speak, when Paul saw that he had faith in Jesus and could be healed. So he looked straight at the man

and made him our Leader and Saviour. Then God gave him a place at his right side, so that the people of Israel would turn back to him and be forgiven.

That's why many of you are sick and weak and why a lot of others have died.

I will forgive anyone you forgive. Yes, for your sake and with Christ as my witness, I have forgiven whatever needed to be forgiven.

You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.

Put up with each other, and forgive anyone who does you wrong, just as Christ has forgiven you.

If you have faith when you pray for sick people, they will get well. The Lord will heal them, and if they have sinned, he will forgive them.
