Jesus replied, “We must go to the nearby towns, so that I can tell the good news to those people. This is why I have come.”

And when they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you!”

Then Jesus went to Jewish meeting places everywhere in Galilee, where he preached and forced out demons.

Jesus answered, “Why did you have to look for me? Didn't you know that I would be in my Father's house?”

But Jesus said, “People in other towns must hear the good news about God's kingdom. That's why I was sent.”

I came from the Father into the world, but I am leaving the world and returning to the Father.

I have brought glory to you here on earth by doing everything you gave me to do.

I told my followers what you told me, and they accepted it. They know that I came from you, and they believe that you are the one who sent me.

As long as it is day, we must do what the one who sent me wants me to do. When night comes, no one can work.
