If you are not on my side, you are against me. If you don't gather in the harvest with me, you scatter it.

When Jesus and the others arrived in Capernaum, the collectors for the temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Does your teacher pay the temple tax?”

Peter answered, “From foreigners.” Jesus replied, “Then their own people don't have to pay.

John said, “Teacher, we saw a man using your name to force demons out of people. But he wasn't one of us, and we told him to stop.”

And anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name, just because you belong to me, will surely be rewarded.

If you are not on my side, you are against me. If you don't gather in the crop with me, you scatter it.

You cannot be the slave of two masters. You will like one more than the other or be more loyal to one than to the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Now I want you to know that if you are led by God's Spirit, you will say that Jesus is Lord, and you will never curse Jesus.

The Israelites tried some of the food, but they did not ask the LORD if he wanted them to make a treaty.
