This is what I say to all who will listen to me: Love your enemies, and be good to everyone who hates you.

Listen carefully to what you hear! The way you treat others will be the way you will be treated—and even worse.

God will bless you when others hate you and won't have anything to do with you. God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you, all because you are a follower of the Son of Man.

But love your enemies and be good to them. Lend without expecting to be paid back. Then you will get a great reward, and you will be the true children of God in heaven. He is good even to people who are unthankful and cruel.

Those seeds that fell on good ground are the people who listen to the message and keep it in good and honest hearts. They last and produce a harvest.

Pay attention to how you listen! Everyone who has something will be given more, but people who have nothing will lose what little they think they have.

The rest of the seeds fell on good ground where they grew and produced a hundred times as many seeds. When Jesus had finished speaking, he said, “If you have ears, pay attention!”

God gave the Holy Spirit and power to Jesus from Nazareth. He was with Jesus, as he went around doing good and healing everyone who was under the power of the devil.

But Paul shouted, “Don't harm yourself! No one has escaped.”

He knelt down and shouted, “Lord, don't blame them for what they have done.” Then he died.

We should help people whenever we can, especially if they are followers of the Lord.

Don't be hateful to people, just because they are hateful to you. Rather, be good to each other and to everyone else.

Dear friend, don't copy the evil deeds of others! Follow the example of people who do kind deeds. They are God's children, but those who are always doing evil have never seen God.
