They were frightened and terrified because they thought they were seeing a ghost.

Then the rich man said, “No, that's not enough! If only someone from the dead would go to them, they would listen and turn to God.”

But Jesus said, “Why are you so frightened? Why do you doubt?

“You are mad!” everyone told her. But she kept saying that it was Peter. Then they said, “It must be his angel.”

“Don't be afraid,” Saul replied. “Just tell me what you see.” She answered, “I see a spirit rising up out of the ground.”
