So be careful what you do. Correct any followers of mine who sin, and forgive the ones who say they are sorry.
Let your faithful people correct and punish me. My prayers condemn the deeds of those who do wrong, so don't let me be friends with any of them.
Don't make treaties with any of those people. If you do, it will be like falling into a trap.
A sensible person accepts correction, but you can't beat sense into a fool.
A truly good friend will openly correct you.
Any boaster you correct will only hate you. But if you correct someone who has common sense, you will be loved.
Don't hold grudges. On the other hand, it's wrong not to correct someone who needs correcting.
Peter came up to the Lord and asked, “How many times should I forgive someone who does something wrong to me? Is seven times enough?”
Don't spend all your time thinking about eating or drinking or worrying about life. If you do, the final day will suddenly catch you
Act like people with good sense and not like fools.
When God spoke to you from the fire, he was invisible. So be careful
Always remember the agreement that the LORD your God made with you, and don't make an idol in any shape or form.
You must be very careful not to forget the things you have seen God do for you. Keep reminding yourselves, and tell your children and grandchildren as well.
Make sure that no one misses out on God's wonderful kindness. Don't let anyone become bitter and cause trouble for the rest of you.
My friends, if any followers have wandered away from the truth, you should try to lead them back.
So be sure not to lose what we have worked for. If you do, you won't be given your full reward.
