Use your powerful arm and rescue me from the hands of mere humans whose world won't last. You provide food for those you love. Their children have plenty, and their grandchildren will have more than enough.

Look at the birds in the sky! They don't plant or harvest. They don't even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them. Aren't you worth more than birds?

You should know better than to say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to the city. We will do business there for a year and make a lot of money!”

You should say, “If the Lord lets us live, we will do these things.”
