God said, “Now we will make humans, and they will be like us. We will let them rule the fish, the birds, and all other living creatures.”

The LORD God took a handful of soil and made a man. God breathed life into the man, and the man started breathing.

Only a fool would say, “There is no God!” People like that are worthless; they are heartless and cruel and never do right.

The LORD gave us each a mind, and nothing we do can be hidden from him.

“How much longer will you enjoy being stupid fools? Won't you ever stop sneering and laughing at knowledge?

Good sense and sound judgment can be yours.

You fools! Why don't you listen when I speak? Why can't you understand

This is a message from the LORD about Israel: I am the LORD! I stretched out the heavens; I put the earth on its foundations and gave breath to humans.

But the two men bowed down and prayed, “Our God, you gave these people life. Why would you punish everyone here when only one man has sinned?”

You blind fools! Which is greater, the gold or the temple that makes the gold sacred?

You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of a cup, and then the outside will also be clean.

But God said to him, “You fool! Tonight you will die. Then who will get what you have stored up?”

Then Jesus asked the two disciples, “Why can't you understand? How can you be so slow to believe all that the prophets said?

Don't be foolish. A seed must die before it can sprout from the ground.

Our earthly fathers correct us, and we still respect them. Isn't it even better to be given true life by letting our spiritual Father correct us?
