I am sick at heart! Pain has taken its toll.

Sorrow floods my heart, when I remember leading the worshippers to your house. I can still hear them shout their joyful praises.

Trust God, my friends, and always tell him each one of your concerns. God is our place of safety.

Everyone in the city groans while searching for food; they trade their valuables for barely enough scraps to stay alive. Jerusalem shouts to the LORD, “Please look and see how miserable I am!”

Babies are so thirsty that their tongues are stuck to the roof of the mouth. Children go begging for food, but no one gives them any.

I will strengthen the power of Babylonia's king and give him my sword to use against Egypt. I will also make the wounded king of Egypt powerless, and he will moan in pain and die in front of the Babylonian king. Then everyone on earth will know that I am the LORD.
