The Levite clan of Merari received twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.

Merari's sons were Mahli and Mushi. All of the above were from the Levi tribe.

And Merari's sons were Mahli and Mushi. These were the sons and grandsons of Levi, and they had become the leaders of the Levite clans.
