The crowds were so amazed that they asked, “Could Jesus be the Son of David?”

The seeds that fell on rocky ground are the people who gladly hear the message and accept it. But they don't have deep roots, and they believe only for a little while. As soon as life gets hard, they give up.

Many of the people who had come to visit Mary saw the things that Jesus did, and they put their faith in him.

He was the reason that many of the Jewish people were turning from them and putting their faith in Jesus.

Even then, many of the leaders put their faith in Jesus, but they did not tell anyone about it. The Pharisees had already given orders for the people not to have anything to do with anyone who had faith in Jesus.

This was Jesus' first miracle, and he did it in the village of Cana in Galilee. There Jesus showed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.

One night he went to Jesus and said, “Sir, we know that God has sent you to teach us. You could not perform these miracles, unless God were with you.”

“Come and see a man who told me everything I have ever done! Could he be the Messiah?”

A lot of Samaritans in that town put their faith in Jesus because the woman had said, “This man told me everything I have ever done.”

A large crowd had seen him perform miracles to heal the sick, and those people went with him.

Yet here he is, speaking for everyone to hear. And no one is arguing with him. Do you suppose the authorities know that he is the Messiah?

Some of the Pharisees said, “This man Jesus doesn't come from God. If he did, he would not break the law of the Sabbath.” Others asked, “How could someone who is a sinner perform such a miracle?” Since the Pharisees could not agree among themselves,

Even Simon believed and was baptized. He stayed close to Philip, because he marvelled at all the miracles and wonders.

Anyone who doesn't breathe is dead, and faith that doesn't do anything is just as dead!
