Many people will come and say, “Let's go to the mountain of the LORD God of Jacob and worship in his temple.” The LORD will teach us his Law from Jerusalem, and we will obey him.

I will teach your children and make them successful.

People of many nations will come and say, “Let's go up to the mountain of the LORD God of Jacob and worship in his temple.” The LORD will teach us his Law from Jerusalem, and we will obey him.

My Father has given me everything, and he is the only one who knows the Son. The only one who truly knows the Father is the Son. But the Son wants to tell others about the Father, so that they can know him too.

Long ago the Lord promised by the words of his holy prophets

Jesus took the twelve apostles aside and said: We are now on our way to Jerusalem. Everything that the prophets wrote about the Son of Man will happen there.

My sheep know my voice, and I know them. They follow me,

Everything and everyone that the Father has given me will come to me, and I won't turn any of them away.

Then Jesus said, “You cannot come to me, unless the Father makes you want to come. That is why I have told these things to all of you.”

Make sure that what the prophets have said doesn't happen to you. They said,

God turned his back on his people and left them. Then they worshipped the stars in the sky, just as it says in the Book of the Prophets, “People of Israel, you didn't offer sacrifices and offerings to me during those forty years in the desert.

I ask the glorious Father and God of our Lord Jesus Christ to give you his Spirit. The Spirit will make you wise and let you understand what it means to know God.

All of us who are mature should think in this same way. And if any of you think differently, God will make it clear to you.

We don't have to write to you about the need to love each other. God has taught you to do this,

“When the time comes, I will make an agreement with them. I will write my laws on their minds and hearts.

But Christ has blessed you with the Holy Spirit. Now the Spirit stays in you, and you don't need any teachers. The Spirit is truthful and teaches you everything. So stay united in your heart with Christ, just as the Spirit has taught you to do.
