There was a man named Nicodemus who was a Pharisee and a Jewish leader.
Pilate called together the chief priests, the leaders, and the people.
Nicodemus also came with about thirty kilogrammes of spices made from myrrh and aloes. This was the same Nicodemus who had visited Jesus one night.
Jesus replied: How can you be a teacher of Israel and not know these things?
Yet here he is, speaking for everyone to hear. And no one is arguing with him. Do you suppose the authorities know that he is the Messiah?
