If you serve me, you must go with me. My servants will be with me wherever I am. If you serve me, my Father will honour you.

If we don't give up, we will rule with him. If we deny that we know him, he will deny that he knows us.

They said, “Why are you men from Galilee standing here and looking up into the sky? Jesus has been taken to heaven. But he will come back in the same way that you have seen him go.”

So Christ died only once to take away the sins of many people. But when he comes again, it will not be to take away sin. He will come to save everyone who is waiting for him.

His Spirit lets us know that together with Christ we will be given what God has promised. We will also share in the glory of Christ, because we have suffered with him.

You have already heard me say that I am going and that I will also come back to you. If you really love me, you should be glad that I am going back to the Father, because he is greater than I am.

Father, I want everyone you have given me to be with me, wherever I am. Then they will see the glory that you have given me, because you loved me before the world was created.

Then, because God and our Lord Jesus Christ are so kind, you will bring honour to the name of our Lord Jesus, and he will bring honour to you.

Everyone who wins the victory will sit with me on my throne, just as I won the victory and sat with my Father on his throne.

It is a hard choice to make. I want to die and be with Christ, because that would be much better.

You know the way to where I am going.”
