Jesus then said, “I am the one who raises the dead to life! Everyone who has faith in me will live, even if they die.

Jesus answered, “The light will be with you for only a little longer. Walk in the light while you can. Then you won't be caught walking blindly in the dark.

My children, I will be with you for a little while longer. Then you will look for me, but you won't find me. I tell you just as I told the people, “You cannot go where I am going.”

“I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.

Jesus told his disciples, “For a little while you won't see me, but after a while you will see me.”

You are now very sad. But later I will see you, and you will be so happy that no one will be able to change the way you feel.

My Father wants everyone who sees the Son to have faith in him and to have eternal life. Then I will raise them to life on the last day.

But Jesus told them, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I will return to the one who sent me.

Jesus also told them, “I am going away, and you will look for me. But you cannot go where I am going, and you will die with your sins unforgiven.”

Not everyone saw him. He was seen only by us, who ate and drank with him after he was raised from death. We were the ones God chose to tell others about him.

Even when we were God's enemies, he made peace with us, because his Son died for us. Yet something even greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, we will be saved by his Son's life.

Or can anyone condemn them? No indeed! Christ died and was raised to life, and now he is at God's right side, speaking to him for us.

But Christ has been raised to life! And he makes us certain that others will also be raised to life.

The first man was named Adam, and the Scriptures tell us that he was a living person. But Jesus, who may be called the last Adam, is a life-giving spirit.

He is for ever able to save the people he leads to God, because he always lives to speak to God for them.

I saw thrones, and sitting on those thrones were the ones who had been given the right to judge. I also saw the souls of the people who had their heads cut off because they had told about Jesus and preached God's message. They were the same ones who had not worshipped the beast or the idol, and they had refused to let its mark be put on their hands or foreheads. They will come to life and rule with Christ for a thousand years.
