We hear with our ears, taste with our tongues,

Neither have I sinned by asking God to send down on them the curse of death.

Everything I will say is true and sincere,

You men think you are wise, but just listen to me!

Then we can decide the case and give a just verdict.

I know right from wrong, and I am not telling lies.

People who are guided by the Spirit can make all kinds of judgments, but they cannot be judged by others.

Solid food is for mature people who have been trained to know right from wrong.
