Follow them, because they make a path that will lead to a long successful life in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

Pay attention, Israel! Our ancestors worshipped the LORD, and he promised to give us this land that is rich with milk and honey. Be careful to obey him, and you will become a successful and powerful nation.

Suffering made Jesus perfect, and now he can save for ever all who obey him.

“Tell me,” Samuel said. “Does the LORD really want sacrifices and offerings? No! He doesn't want your sacrifices. He wants you to obey him.
