But I, the LORD, tell you that these prophets have never attended a meeting of my council in heaven or heard me speak.
Zedekiah walked up to Micaiah and slapped him on the face. Then he asked, “Do you really think the LORD would speak to you and not to me?”
Zedekiah walked over and slapped Micaiah on the face. Then he asked, “Do you really think the LORD would speak to you and not to me?”
Who can tell God what to do? He judges powerful rulers.
So, Job, pay attention and don't interrupt,
Our LORD, you are the friend of your worshippers, and you make an agreement with all of us.

Whatever the LORD God plans to do, he tells his servants, the prophets.
Servants don't know what their master is doing, and so I don't speak to you as my servants. I speak to you as my friends, and I have told you everything that my Father has told me.
The Scriptures ask, “Has anyone ever known the thoughts of the Lord or given him advice?” But we understand what Christ is thinking.
