The poor must beg for help, but the rich can give a harsh reply.

And then they say to others, “Don't come near us! We're dedicated to God.” Such people are like smoke, irritating my nose all day.

Suppose a rich person wearing fine clothes and a gold ring comes to one of your meetings. And suppose a poor person dressed in worn out clothes also comes.

You ill-treat the poor. But isn't it the rich who boss you around and drag you off to court?

These people grumble and complain and live by their own selfish desires. They boast about themselves and flatter others to get what they want.
