Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king of Judah, and he ruled fifty-five years from Jerusalem.

Josiah was eight years old when he became king of Judah, and he ruled thirty-one years from Jerusalem.

Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he was appointed king of Judah, and he ruled from Jerusalem for eleven years.

He was twenty-three years old at the time, and he ruled only three months from Jerusalem.

Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he was appointed king, and he ruled eleven years from Jerusalem. Jehoiakim disobeyed the LORD his God by doing evil.

Though you are God's people, you are ruled and abused by women and children. You are confused by leaders who guide you down the wrong path.

The LORD says: The women of Jerusalem are proud and strut around, winking shamelessly. They wear anklets that jingle and call attention to the way they walk.

and it was Zedekiah who finally rebelled against Nebuchadnezzar. The people of Judah and Jerusalem had made the LORD so angry that he finally turned his back on them. That's why horrible things were happening.
