Seven days later Noah sent the dove out again.

It returned in the evening, holding in its beak a green leaf from an olive tree. Noah knew that the water was finally going down.

Trust the LORD! Be brave and strong and trust the LORD.

At that time, people will say, “The LORD has saved us! Let's celebrate. We waited and hoped— now our God is here.”

You are the one we trust to bring about justice; above all else we want your name to be honoured.

The LORD God is waiting to show how kind he is and to have pity on you. The LORD always does right; he blesses those who trust him.

Meanwhile, I patiently trust the LORD, even though he is no longer pleased with Israel.

Now you must leave your towns and live like doves in the shelter of cliffs and canyons.

At the time I have decided, my words will come true. You can trust what I say about the future. It may take a long time, but keep on waiting— it will happen!
