Abram was seventy-five years old when the LORD told him to leave the city of Haran. He obeyed and left with his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, and all the possessions and slaves they had got while in Haran. When they came to the land of Canaan,

Isaac died at the ripe old age of one hundred and eighty, then his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

Jacob himself lived there for seventeen years, before dying at the age of one hundred and forty-seven.

Jacob answered, “I have lived only a hundred and thirty years, and I have had to move from place to place. My parents and my grandparents also had to move from place to place. But they lived much longer, and their life was not as hard as mine.”

So Joseph died in Egypt at the age of one hundred and ten; his body was embalmed and put in a coffin.
