That same morning Abraham got up and went to the place where he had stood and spoken with the LORD.

He looked down towards Sodom and Gomorrah and saw smoke rising from all over the land—it was like a flaming furnace.

Each morning you listen to my prayer, as I bring my requests to you and wait for your reply.

While standing guard on the watchtower, I waited for the LORD's answer, before explaining the reason for my complaint.

We must give our full attention to what we were told, so that we won't drift away.
