God named the dry ground “Land”, and he named the water “Sea”. God looked at what he had done and saw that it was good.

Our LORD, we pray that your glory will last for ever and that you will be pleased with what you have done.

God made heaven and earth; he created the sea and everything else. God always keeps his word.

He scooped up the ocean and stored the water.

The ocean is the Lord's because he made it, and with his own hands he formed the dry land.

Jonah answered, “I'm a Hebrew, and I worship the LORD God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

The LORD is a mighty rock, and he never does wrong. God can always be trusted to bring justice.
