and there will always be priests from the Levi tribe serving at my altar and offering sacrifices to please me and to give thanks.

I myself will provide for my priests, and so they won't receive any land of their own.

In the tribe of Levi there were 23,000 men and boys at least a month old. They were not listed with the other tribes, because they would not receive any land in Canaan.
