It's better land than you had in Egypt, where you had to struggle just to water your crops.

Weavers will be confused; paid workers will cry and mourn.

I dried up every stream in the land of Egypt, and I drank water from wells I had dug.”

I brought you here to my land, where food is abundant, but you made my land filthy with your sins.

This horrible disaster will strike the Egyptians and everyone else who refuses to go there for the celebration.

But the hills and valleys in the promised land are watered by rain from heaven,

that the LORD promised your ancestors and their descendants. It's rich with milk and honey, and you will live there and enjoy it for a long time.

The LORD your God is bringing you into a good land with streams that flow from springs in the valleys and hills.
