And there is no other nation on earth like Israel, the nation you rescued from slavery in Egypt to be your own. You became famous by using great and wonderful miracles to force other nations and their gods out of your land, so your people could live here.

I praise you, God! Don't keep silent.

Everyone will talk about your fearsome deeds, and I will tell all nations how great you are.

Like a bull with mighty horns, the LORD protects his faithful nation Israel, because they belong to him. Shout praises to the LORD!

Yet you are the holy God, ruling from your throne and praised by Israel.

The LORD is my strength, the reason for my song, because he has saved me. I praise and honour the LORD— he is my God and the God of my ancestors.

The LORD said: I promise to perform miracles for you that have never been seen anywhere on earth. Neighbouring nations will stand in fear and know that I was the one who did these marvellous things.

You won't need the light of the sun or the moon. I, the LORD your God, will be your eternal light and bring you honour.

Your fearsome deeds have completely amazed us; even the mountains shake when you come down.

You, LORD, are the one I praise. So heal me and rescue me! Then I will be completely well and perfectly safe.

Your mighty power is a light for all nations, and it will bring honour to your people Israel.”

And when we fought the Amorites and the other nations that lived in this land, the LORD made them run away. Yes, we will worship and obey the LORD, because the LORD is our God.

And the city did not need the sun or the moon. The glory of God was shining on it, and the Lamb was its light.

You also must obey the LORD—you must worship him with all your heart and remember the great things he has done for you.
