Jesus then said, “I am the one who raises the dead to life! Everyone who has faith in me will live, even if they die.

My dear friends, we are already God's children, though what we will be hasn't yet been seen. But we do know that when Christ returns, we will be like him, because we will see him as he truly is.

I have died, but Christ lives in me. And I now live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.

Be alert and think straight. Put all your hope in how kind God will be to you when Jesus Christ appears.

God will bless all who have washed their robes. They will each have the right to eat fruit from the tree that gives life, and they can enter the gates of the city.

These ugly and weak bodies will become beautiful and strong.

The angel showed me a river that was crystal clear, and its waters gave life. The river came from the throne where God and the Lamb were seated.

Offer praise to God our Saviour because of our Lord Jesus Christ! Only God can keep you from falling and make you pure and joyful in his glorious presence. Before time began and now and for evermore, God is worthy of glory, honour, power, and authority. Amen.

And so, if we have God's Son, we have this life. But if we don't have the Son, we don't have this life.

We are filled with hope, as we wait for the glorious return of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

But everyone who has done right will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom. If you have ears, pay attention!

So a crown will be given to me for pleasing the Lord. He judges fairly, and on the day of judgment he will give a crown to me and to everyone else who wants him to appear with power.

These little troubles are getting us ready for an eternal glory that will make all our troubles seem like nothing.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.

After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together.

I am innocent, LORD, and I will see your face! When I awake, all I want is to see you as you are.

From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus. God himself chose me to be an apostle, and he gave me the promised life that Jesus Christ makes possible.

Next, all of us who are still alive will be taken up into the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the sky. From that time on we will all be with the Lord for ever.

You are not missing out on any blessings, as you wait for him to return.

But these are written so that you will put your faith in Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of God. If you have faith in him, you will have true life.

Your advice has been my guide, and later you will welcome me in glory.

If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will let everyone who wins the victory eat from the life-giving tree in God's wonderful garden.

Promise to obey completely and fully all that you have been told until our Lord Jesus Christ returns.

and you killed the one who leads people to life. But God raised him from death, and all of us can tell you what he has done.

The same will happen on the day when the Son of Man appears.

I am sure that what we are suffering now cannot compare with the glory that will be shown to us.

In fact, all creation is eagerly waiting for God to show who his children are.
