After Agabus said this, we and the followers living there begged Paul not to go to Jerusalem.

Some of us are from Parthia, Media, and Elam. Others are from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia,

I don't know what will happen to me in Jerusalem, but I must obey God's Spirit and go there.

Then we got ready to go to Jerusalem.

We found the Lord's followers and stayed with them for a week. The Holy Spirit had told them to warn Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.
