How can anyone be innocent in the sight of God?

Then ask him to point out what you did wrong, so you won't do it again.

I'll tell you what it really means to worship the LORD. Remove the chains of prisoners who are chained unjustly. Free those who are abused!

When you beg the LORD for help, he will answer, “Here I am!” Don't ill-treat others or falsely accuse them or say something cruel.

Do something to show that you have really given up your sins.

God blesses those people who are merciful. They will be treated with mercy!

The crowds asked John, “What should we do?”

Why are you doing this? We are humans just like you. Please give up all this foolishness. Turn to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them.

The girl followed Paul and the rest of us and kept yelling, “These men are servants of the Most High God! They are telling you how to be saved.”

The jailer did as he was told. He put them deep inside the jail and chained their feet to heavy blocks of wood.

When the people heard this, they were very upset. They asked Peter and the other apostles, “Friends, what shall we do?”

I asked, “Lord, what do you want me to do?” Then he told me, “Get up and go to Damascus. When you get there, you will be told what to do.”

Now get up and go into the city, where you will be told what to do.”

Do this, because on the day of judgment there will be no pity for those who have not had pity on others. But even in judgment, God is merciful!
