God chose you, and we keep praying that God will make you worthy of being his people. We pray for God's power to help you do all the good things that you hope to do and that your faith makes you want to do.

You, LORD, will always treat me with kindness. Your love never fails. You have made us what we are. Don't give up on us now!

It is the ground that makes the seeds sprout and grow into plants that produce grain.

My little group of disciples, don't be afraid! Your Father wants to give you the kingdom.

God has seen how I never stop praying for you, while I serve him with all my heart and tell the good news about his Son.

God doesn't take back the gifts he has given or forget about the people he has chosen.

My friends, I am sure that you are very good and that you have all the knowledge you need to teach each other.

God then accepted the people he had already decided to choose, and he has shared his glory with them.

And until the day Christ does return, he will keep you completely innocent.

So I never stop being grateful for you, as I mention you in my prayers.

God was kind and decided that Christ would choose us to be God's own adopted children.

and by what Christ has done, God has shown us his own mysterious ways.

God is the one who began this good work in you, and I am certain that he won't stop before it is complete on the day that Christ Jesus returns.

God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him.

I run towards the goal, so that I can win the prize of being called to heaven. This is the prize that God offers because of what Christ Jesus has done.

we tell God our Father about your faith and loving work and about your firm hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

All this shows that God judges fairly and that he is making you fit to share in his kingdom for which you are suffering.

God used our preaching as his way of inviting you to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We must keep our eyes on Jesus, who leads us and makes our faith complete. He endured the shame of being nailed to a cross, because he knew that later on he would be glad he did. Now he is seated at the right side of God's throne!

My friends, God has chosen you to be his holy people. So think about Jesus, the one we call our apostle and high priest!

But God shows undeserved kindness to everyone. That's why he appointed Christ Jesus to choose you to share in his eternal glory. You will suffer for a while, but God will make you complete, steady, strong, and firm.

A few of you in Sardis have not dirtied your clothes with sin. You will walk with me in white clothes, because you are worthy.

You let them become kings and serve God as priests, and they will rule on earth.”
