Naaman walked down to the Jordan; he waded out into the water and stooped down in it seven times, just as Elisha had told him. Straight away, he was cured, and his skin became as smooth as a child's.

The LORD kept the promise that his prophet Elijah had made, and she did not run out of flour or oil.

Elisha got up and walked back and forth in the room, then he went back and leaned over the boy's body. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.

Elisha sent someone outside to say to him, “Go and wash seven times in the River Jordan. Then you'll be completely cured.”

Early the next morning, as everyone got ready to leave for the desert near Tekoa, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Listen my friends, if we trust the LORD God and believe what these prophets have told us, the LORD will help us, and we will be successful.”

When my servants complained against me, I was fair to them.

Our health is restored, we feel young again,

“Put your hand back inside your shirt,” the LORD told him. Moses did so, and when he took it out again, it was as healthy as the rest of his body.

If you have good sense, instruction will help you to have even better sense. And if you live right, education will help you to know even more.

Even if the spot completely disappears after being washed, it must be washed again before it is clean.

In the future there will be a fountain, where David's descendants and the people of Jerusalem can wash away their sin and guilt.

In both summer and winter, life-giving streams will flow from Jerusalem, half of them to the Dead Sea in the east and half to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.

During the time of the prophet Elisha, many men in Israel had leprosy. But no one was healed, except Naaman who lived in Syria.

Jesus put his hand on him and said, “I want to! Now you are well.” At once the man's leprosy disappeared.

Mary then said to the servants, “Do whatever Jesus tells you to do.”

He gave himself to rescue us from everything that is evil and to make our hearts pure. He wanted us to be his own people and to be eager to do right.

Take along the sacred chest and make seven priests walk in front of it, carrying trumpets. But on the seventh day, march slowly around the town seven times while the priests blow their trumpets.
