God gives seed to farmers and provides everyone with food. He will increase what you have, so that you can give even more to those in need.

Don't let us starve and our land be ruined. If you'll give us grain to eat and seed to plant, we'll sell ourselves and our land to the king. We'll become his slaves.

Meanness gets you nowhere, but goodness is rewarded.

Plant your seeds early in the morning and keep working in the field until dark. Who knows? Your work might pay off, and your seeds might produce.

“Rain and snow fall from the sky. But they don't return without watering the earth that produces seeds to plant and grain to eat.

God gives you his Spirit and works miracles in you. But does he do this because you obey the Law of Moses or because you have heard about Christ and have faith in him?

Jesus Christ will keep you busy doing good deeds that bring glory and praise to God.

I am not trying to get something from you, but I want you to receive the blessings that come from giving.

May the Lord make your love for each other and for everyone else grow by leaps and bounds. That's how our love for you has grown.

and you already have shown your love for all his people in Macedonia. But, my dear friends, we ask you to do even more.
