I am on my way to visit you for the third time. And as the Scriptures say, “Any charges must be proved true by at least two or three witnesses.”

While you are still talking to David, I'll come in and tell him that everything you said is true.

The two liars came in and sat facing Naboth. Then they accused him of cursing God and the king, so the people dragged Naboth outside and stoned him to death.

Death is the penalty for murder. But no one accused of murder can be put to death unless there are at least two witnesses to the crime.

But if that one refuses to listen, take along one or two others. The Scriptures teach that every complaint must be proved true by two or more witnesses.

I am planning to visit you for the third time. But I still won't make a burden of myself. What I really want is you, and not what you have. Children are not supposed to save up for their parents, but parents are supposed to take care of their children.

Before you are convicted of a crime, at least two witnesses must be able to testify that you did it.
