He also gave orders to make a large metal bowl called the Sea. It was four and a half metres across, just over two metres deep, and thirteen and a half metres around.

The bowl itself sat on top of twelve bronze bulls, with three bulls facing outwards in each of four directions.

Each creature had the face of a human in front, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of a bull on the left, and the face of an eagle at the back.

Each of the winged creatures had four faces: the face of a bull, the face of a human, the face of a lion, and the face of an eagle.

The first creature was like a lion, the second one was like a bull, the third one had the face of a human, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.
