“Please don't kill my son,” the baby's mother screamed. “Your Majesty, I love him very much, but give him to her. Just don't kill him.” The other woman shouted, “Go ahead and cut him in half. Then neither of us will have the baby.”

Straight away he rushed off to his room and cried because of his love for Benjamin.

Solomon said, “Don't kill the baby.” Then he pointed to the first woman, “She is his real mother. Give the baby to her.”

God himself knows how much I want to see you. He knows that I care for you in the same way that Christ Jesus does.

Christ encourages you, and his love comforts you. God's Spirit unites you, and you are concerned for others.

heartless, and hateful. Their words will be cruel, and they will have no self-control or pity. These people will hate everything that is good.

If we have all we need and see one of our own people in need, we must have pity on that person, or else we cannot say we love God.
