I will bring them to my holy mountain, where they will celebrate in my house of worship. Their sacrifices and offerings will always be welcome on my altar. Then my house will be known as a house of worship for all nations.

And so the Lord says, “I'm laying a firm foundation for the city of Zion. It's a valuable cornerstone proven to be trustworthy; no one who trusts it will ever be disappointed.

So I will call you Peter, which means “a rock.” On this rock I will build my church, and death itself will not have any power over it.

I will return to Jerusalem and live there on Mount Zion. Then Jerusalem will be known as my faithful city, and Zion will be known as my holy mountain.

We were there with Jesus on the holy mountain and heard this voice speak from heaven.

Why is it jealous of Zion, the mountain you chose as your home forever?

Solomon's workers began building the temple in Jerusalem on the second day of the second month, four years after Solomon had become king of Israel. It was built on Mount Moriah where the Lord had appeared to David at the threshing place that had belonged to Araunah from Jebus.

I look to the hills! Where will I find help?

As a deer gets thirsty for streams of water, I truly am thirsty for you, my God.

There he built his temple as lofty as the mountains and as solid as the earth he made to last forever.

Jerusalem, we are standing inside your gates.

If a messenger comes from a distant nation, you must say: “The Lord built Zion. Even the poorest of his people will find safety there.”
