The Lord wiped out nations and left fortresses crumbling in the dirt. Their streets and towns were reduced to ruins and emptied of people.

“Kings and their armies retreated and ran, and everything they left is now being divided.

The God of Israel is fearsome in his temple, and he makes us strong. Let's praise our God!

The Amorite kings west of the Jordan River and the Canaanite kings along the Mediterranean Sea lost their courage and their will to fight, when they heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan River to let Israel go across.

These festivals must be celebrated in addition to the Sabbaths and the times when you offer special gifts or sacrifices to keep a promise or as a voluntary offering.

I am God Most High! The only sacrifice I want is for you to be thankful and to keep your word.
