My heart is beating fast. I feel weak all over, and my eyes are red.

I am almost blind with grief; my body is a mere shadow.

We feel sick all over and can't even see straight;

and I am almost blind because of my sorrow. Each day I lift my hands in prayer to you, Lord.

Before I confessed my sins, my bones felt limp, and I groaned all day long.

“Don't forget that I have been faithful to you, Lord. I have obeyed you with all my heart, and I do whatever you say is right.” After this, he cried bitterly.

God has made my days drag on and my nights miserable.

There are more people who hate me for no reason than there are hairs on my head. Many terrible enemies want to destroy me, God. Am I supposed to give back something I didn't steal?

You are moaning and blaming me, the Lord, for your troubles and sorrow, and for being so tired that you can't even rest.
