Tell the heavens and the earth to be glad and celebrate! And announce to the nations, “The Lord is King!”

Then I heard what seemed to be a large crowd that sounded like a roaring flood and loud thunder all mixed together. They were saying, “Praise the Lord! Our Lord God All-Powerful now rules as king.

So whenever we are in need, we should come bravely before the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with undeserved grace, and we will find help.

Our Lord, you are King! Majesty and power are your royal robes. You put the world in place, and it will never be moved.

Your kingdom is ruled by justice and fairness with love and faithfulness leading the way.

You take your seat as judge, and your fair decisions prove that I was in the right.

I saw a great white throne with someone sitting on it. Earth and heaven tried to run away, but there was no place for them to go.

He will judge the nations and crack their skulls, leaving piles of dead bodies all over the earth.

Our Lord, you are King! You rule from your throne above the winged creatures, as people tremble and the earth shakes.

The Lord is King! Tell the earth to celebrate and all islands to shout.

Announce to the nations, “The Lord is King! The world stands firm, never to be shaken, and he will judge its people with fairness.”

But you are opposed to dishonest lawmakers

The Lord God is wonderful! He deserves all praise in the city where he lives. His holy mountain,

You are praised in Zion, and you control all nations.

Then there will be only one Lord who rules as King and whose name is worshiped everywhere on earth.

Instead of offering the acceptable animals you have promised, you bring me those that are unhealthy. I will punish you for this, because I am the great King, the Lord All-Powerful, and I am worshiped by nations everywhere.
