You satisfy the desires of all your worshipers, and you come to save them when they ask for help.

Do what the Lord wants, and he will give you your heart's desire.

If you have faith when you pray, you will be given whatever you ask for.”

You did what he wanted most and never told him “No.”

When that time comes, you won't have to ask me about anything. I tell you for certain the Father will give you whatever you ask for in my name.

Good people want what is best, but troublemakers hope to stir up trouble.

I know that you always answer my prayers. But I said this, so the people here would believe you sent me.”

“The Lord isn't going to kill us,” Manoah's wife responded. “The Lord accepted our sacrifice and grain offering, and he let us see something amazing. Besides, he told us that we're going to have a son.”

Please listen to what I have to say. If the Lord has turned you against me, maybe a sacrifice will make him change his mind. But if some people have turned you against me, I hope the Lord will punish them! They have forced me to leave the land that belongs to the Lord and have told me to worship foreign gods.

Take them—they're yours! I hope the Lord your God will be pleased with you.”
