Children, stay one in your hearts with Christ. Then when he returns, we will have confidence and won't have to hide in shame.

and you will find happiness by worshiping him.

And you are my friends, if you obey me.

Let me truly respect your laws, so I won't be ashamed.

If you obey every law except one, you are still guilty of breaking them all.

I follow all your commands, but I hate anyone who leads me astray.

I follow your rules, Lord. Don't let me be ashamed.

Be true to your word, Lord. Keep me alive and strong; don't let me be ashamed because of my hope.
